Ramsey Jay, Jr.
Ramsey Jay, Jr. is the Founding Principal of Ramsey Jay, Jr. And Associates, a strategic consultancy specializing in diversity and inclusion programming, corporate communications, enterprise leadership development, and executive talent management. Ramsey is also a self-improvement author of the best-selling book “Empowering Dreamers To Become Achievers”, international subject matter keynote lecturer, and empowerment motivational speaker. Engagement highlights include delivering diversity and inclusion programming for the United State Naval Surface Warfare Center (NAVSEA), Ares Management, Pomerantz, Los Angeles Police Department, and the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP); traveling to Ghana and partnering with the Association of African Universities (AAU) to provide economic and education consulting services; visiting Dublin, Ireland to present research at the International Colloquium on Black Males in Education;; making remarks at the White House where Former President Barack Obama hosted an event honoring the philanthropic legacy of Ray Charles. Prior to launching his strategic consultancy, Ramsey was a Wall Street trained global investment management executive. Presently, Ramsey is President of the Gamma Zeta Boulé Foundation Board of Directors and an Ambassador for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Pacific Southwest Chapter. Ramsey earned a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno where he was a five-time all-conference Division 1 track and field athlete. Ramsey also earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College where he was voted ‘Commencement Speaker’ of his graduating class and plays a leadership role in the school’s ongoing diversity and inclusion efforts.
