Theodore King
Theodore J. King is a manager at the Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association. While joining LACERA in 2001, Theodore has held various leadership roles. LACERA administers and monitors retirement benefits for all the employees of Los Angeles County. The retirement fund is 60 billion dollars strong. Currently, Theodore oversees the Special Benefits Section of the Benefits Division. Born in Chicago, IL, Theodore graduated and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is a proud member of Holman United Methodist Church and holds the office of President of the Arts Council, and a member of the Lay Servant/Liturgists team. To add, Theodore is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Beta Psi Lambda Chapter where he has served on the Executive Board for five consecutive years. Theodore is also an avid supporter of various civic organization in the Los Angeles area.
