The meeting began at 7:30 pm with a Welcome from Ramsey Jay, Jr., GZBF’s President, and a discussion on Board Commitments and Recruiting. We then moved into Key Initiatives Report on the Foundations Social Engagement, Communication, Giving and our Legacy Engagements. This was followed by the treasury report, communications report, and a look forward at our upcoming calendar. As anticipated, there was discussion surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. David Pryor, M.D, M.P.H., Regional Vice President, Medical Director, Anthem Blue Cross and Board Member of the American Heart Association Los Angeles Chapter, provided an update on the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact. There was a robust Q&A that followed. Lastly, the board discussed hosting a Virtual/Online L.A.M.P.
