Therese Dodds, L.A.M.P. parent and the first Chairperson of the L.A.M.P. Mentor Program Parents Auxiliary Council (L.A.M.P. PAC) has stepped down from her position. She made this decision due to promotions and added responsibilities at work and has handed the leadership post to Mark Fowler.
Therese (pictured with her two sons, Marshall, and Landon) was the first chairperson of the L.A.M.P. PAC. Gamma Zeta Boule launched L.A.M.P. PAC in the 2020/2021 school year as a part of the Foundation’s Institutional Infrastructure (II) strategic goal.
Therese brought many brilliant ideas to the L.A.M.P. Mentor Program and L.A.M.P. PAC including launching workshops for the parents, and many programs to engage L.A.M.P. parents in the operations of L.A.M.P. Mentor Program Workshops. No longer is it the sole responsibility of the L.A.M.P. Program Coordinator to conduct workshops while also coordinating the purchase, delivery, and setup of meals for the Mentees during workshops. The L.A.M.P. PAC now cares for these and other important responsibilities during workshops, thus freeing Workshop leaders, Ramsey Jay, Gilbert Holmes, and Earle Charles to facilitate the program of the day without distractions.
Mark Fowler who was always a part of L.A.M.P. PAC from its inception has assumed the position of Chairperson of L.A.M.P. PAC with Elvia Bedolla continuing as the Co-Chairperson of L.A.M.P. PAC. We look forward to Mark and Elvia taking the PAC to its next heights and we thank Therese for all that she has done to support the Mentees and the L.A.M.P. Mentor Program.
